Scottish Design Exchange (SDX), the social enterprise supporting Scotland’s creative community, has officially opened the doors to its new store at 250–252 Sauchiehall Street, marking an exciting new chapter for both the organisation and the city centre.

The move places SDX right in the heart of Sauchiehall Street’s ongoing regeneration, bringing a strong mix of independent artists, designers and makers back into one of Glasgow’s most historic streets.

The new space creates a bigger, more visible platform for Scottish creativity, with expanded areas for artwork, fashion and gifting, alongside room for in-store events, launches and opportunities for customers to connect directly with the people behind the work.

The relocation also sees the return of Foodies, SDX’s much-loved food offering which previously operated in Buchanan Galleries. Foodies showcases independent Scottish producers creating everything from small-batch jams and honey to artisan oatcakes, bringing a real taste of Scotland back into the city centre.

The Glasgow store now supports over 160 artists and makers, with the increased space allowing for an even broader and more diverse range of work.

We're thrilled to have helped on this big milestone for SDX!
